"This hotel was ideal for 1 night visit to see Man U play!!! Though we arrived well before checkin the hotel took our bags from us and we headed off to eat and do some shopping. We returned just before 2pm and were allocated a room on the 10th floor. rooms were clean and had tea and coffee making facilities! Ideal situation for train from airport and tram for old trafford. we had breakfast included in our deal and again the hotel took our bags since we wanted to return for a tour of old trafford. "Came down from Scotland for a concert. On arrival reception asked if we would like a room near the top which we gratefully accepted.Floor length windows & great views of bustling street below. Fab breakfast which was included of overall price of £70. Staff were just so kind & obliging. We asked if we could have a late check-out, no problem & free. Also asked if we could make a fresh coffee after breakfast & take it back up to our room with our complimentary newspaper - of course she said with a smile. The room itself was excellent, spacious, very clean & modern facilities. And the double shower with ledge for wine glass an extra bonus :-) Overall an excellent experience." Stayed February 2011

"My husband and I stayed one night in the Holiday Inn Express in Manchester Oxford Road when we were in Manchester for a gig.
We got off at the Oxford Road train station and could literally see the hotel from there, so didn't have to search for the hotel! We checked in really quickly and the reception staff were very friendly and helpful. We had a room on the first floor that was very clean and spacious. Not sure if its quite a new hotel or if it has been re decorated recently but it looked very fresh and the bathroom looked brand new. The hotel bar area was very nice with reasonable bar prices. That night we ate at Pizza Express which was about a five minute walk from the hotel. There was also plenty of bars in the area." Stayed January 2012

"The hotel was very quiet and although our room looked out to the main road we heard no noise at all. The next morning we received a complimentary breakfast which was a mixture of hot and cold buffet. There was plenty of choice and was very nice.
The hotel is in a very central location and was ideal for going shopping the following day. The hotel also allowed us to leave our bags after we had checked out and we went back to pick them up prior to catching the train home.
Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel to others travelling to Manchester and would definitely return here on any future visit to Manchester."
